OSCAR WOLLSTEN
To me, photography is about storytelling with an expressive style. The aim is always to make pictures that touch the viewer and make them think - to show the world from my point of view.
Whether it is street photography, portraitures or documentary projects, I look for narrative, atmosphere and dramatic tension. Fundamentally, photography is about the search for meaning - for that fleeting moment when the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
It is those special moments I am looking for - when a street corner turns into a portal to another dimension. Or when a stranger reveals their soul for a split second. A photograph has the power to inspire.
